REGISTRATION TERMS
GENERAL INFORMATION
The registration period is generally open from mid-October to mid-November each year
You may register for more than one component (Competition and Stepping Stone)
Registrations for 2022 will take place from October 18 to November 15, 2021
REGISTRATION FEES
Registration fees: $100
Includes new fees for the Acceptd platform (15 USD).
Participation fees: $200
Payable upon admission to the Stepping Stone official competition.
Suggested donation: $200
At the candidate’s discretion, a donation in the amount of $200 is suggested upon registration. The Canadian Music Competition will issue an official tax receipt for all contributions made as donations. Your gesture will have a direct impact on the organization of the rounds and will support Canada’s emerging musicians.

Repertoire modification fee: $30
Cancellation fee: $50
Registration fees for cancellations received before January 27th, 2022 can be reimbursed. There is a cancellation fee of $50 and the donation portion is not refundable. No refunds will be given past this date (rule 4.2).
NSF cheque fee: $15
REGISTRATION TERMS
- The registration form must be submitted before November 15th, 2021, 11:59 p.m., local time.
- Documents to submit via Acceptd upon registration (rule 5)
- Payment must be completed upon receipt of the invoice. Payment methods accepted: Square or cheque.
- A confirmation email is sent once the form is received by the CMC. For any questions, contact the National Office.
- It is the responsibility of the candidate to make sure that all documents are received before the deadline.
